Be careful with that scroll: Warning labels in D&D!

The other day, I had a curious thought; what if safety inspectors existed in D&D? Would all kinds of products start coming with warning labels? What would they warn us about? Well, I bet it would look something like this:

The safety inspection people in my universe are usually dominated or otherwise manipulated into passing even the worst places. Like the Aboleth Bar N’ Grill, which the Aboleth just enslaves safety inspectors and sends them back. This is how they’ve been serving acid cakes and raw brains unobstructed for years.

Ha, nice labels. I actually sold my PCs some discount potions from a suspect merchant a couple sessions ago. After buying and the merchant departed, they noticed the potions had a warning label on the bottom. It read “Warning: Do not expose to air, sunlight, jostling, heat, cold, or halflings. Don’t taunt the healing potion.”

This would be a brilliant way to pull an entertaining April Fool’s day game.
PC: “You want to do what to my equipment?”
