Collaborative Storytelling – Part 2

For NaNoWriMo, a group of us wrote a short story entitled Closure. It was fun and I would like to do it again. This time, however, I would like to make a basic outline, pass out chapters and plot points to individuals, and then go from there.  I don’t plan to even get started until after the New Year. If you would like to volunteer, fill out a comment below. Sometime in early January, we can start planning and see what happens. :)

Collaborative fiction is what we’re all about at EscapingReality.ca We’ve found that people find it much easier to produce and be imaginative when they aren’t the sole brain behind the works.

Playing off other people is a hoot, too. I’d be interested to know whether it felt constraining to stick with a plotline, though?

@James – Well, when I say “plotline,” I’m referring to a start point and an ending point. Everything in between is up to the authors. ;)

Ahhh, then that’s very cool. Plenty of freeform and lots of room for the impromptu, but a clear ending in sight. I like!
