Cruel World – The Kobold Song

So this is the post where I thoroughly embarrass myself. Don’t laugh too loudly.

Yesterday, I had an idea for a filk based upon Wild World by Cat Stevens. I decided to make a song based upon the life of a kobold and actually sing it. Hope you like it.

Now that we’ve lost half the tribe again
You say you wanna take the fight to them
And you’re packin’ your spear and leather
Hope it’s not pleather
But if you’re gonna leave, make light your pack
Cuz I doubt you’ll be comin’ back
You’ll probably end up a goblin snack

Oh god, that was simply amazing. I can’t believe you actually sang it! You certainly have the voice for it, that’s for sure, but most wouldn’t do it, so I adore you for it now. <3
