I typically lay things out on the ol' battlemap with pipe cleaners. Cheap and recyclable!

Haven't tried it myself, per se. (Although I used to play out plenty of fantasy scenarios with my Legos back in the day - just never coupled doing so with D&D rules.)

You may find the BrickQuest site of interest, however:

The BrikWars site is also very inspirational:

I've used legos for a number of D&D applications. I still occasionally use a dice tumbler I built out of legos. I've also built small 3D props with them (altars, fountains, fireplaces, that kind of thing).

My favorite D&D lego memory, though, is when I used a bunch of lego people as civilians on a train. When Githyanki (and their Red Dragon "heavy" attacked, they attempted to hold the civilians hostage. The players went the whole "we don't deal with terrorists" route, and nearly a whole train car load of civilians were smoked. I had one player actually get weepy as he saw the pile of lego body parts begin to build up on the table. Good times, lol.

Now, if only they'd make legos in 1 inch increments. That would ROCK!

I've once tried to use them to create locations, but I'm not that skilled with them. (But boy was it fun trying)

Yep, and here's a link to a picture: http://webamused.com/bumblers/?p=229

btw, you'd be doing me a big favor if you could tweak your template so that the name and mail input boxes showed up as some color other than white on yellow...
