The Shapeshifting Druid variant in 3.5 was one of the coolest, and most enjoyable characters I ever ran. Having that option be the standard of the 4e druid gets me way more excited than the other two combined. Finally having a second option for Controllers is another plus.

The Bard comes in at number 2, and they actually look like they could be decent this time.

While the Barbarian is a cool character concept to play, we already have too many martial striker/defender classes to choose from. We need to widen the scope on the other side again and get in some more spell casters - particularly controllers.

Being perfectly honest, none of 'em. I'm having too much fun already with Core + Swordmage, and there are so many characters I want to play with just the classes I have (that and having fun expanding the classes with homebrew). But having to pick, Barbarian. I recently made a charging-focused Barbarian, refluffed to be more of an "exudes aura of badass" than "RAAAR SMASH", and it's been hellishly fun testing her out. Even if she is really weirdly spec'd (Barbarian/Spellscarred Savant, for fluff reasons.)

Wyatt´s last blog post..Here’s A Weird One (4e Homebrew)

Yaay! Good to see the Bard getting some love. After being kick ass in version 1, essentially shelved in version 2, and horribly nerfed in version 3, I'm looking forward to coverting my 3E Bard to a 4th Edition one.

@Donny - I think it will happen in 4E! ;)

@Sebastian - I loved playing a monk in 3E. If Wizards releases a preview for 4E, I'll add it to the poll!
