The Bullywug Theme Song

Greywulf and a few other RPGBloggers have created posts based upon the theme of “Five Bullywugs Named Steve.” While this is post is not about one of them, I felt like something was missing. But then it hit me; a theme song! So without further adieu, I give you The Bullywug Theme Song (sung to the tune of the Spider-man theme song). Enjoy!

Bullywug, bullywug,
Does whatever a bullywug does
In the mud, they can hide,
Kills PCs just like flies
Look out!
Here comes a bullywug.

Can he hop?
Listen bud,
Goes up high, comes down with a thud.
Isn’t this some kind of joke?
Quiet or he’ll make you croak.
Hey, there
There goes a bullywug.

In the heat of swamp
Underneath all the muck
Getting ready to jump
And now you’re out of luck

Bullywug, bullywug
Bloated, bug-eyed bullywug
Mottled skin
Great big tongue
Hunting things just for fun.

To him, life can be really nasty
But if you need a patsy
There’s always a bullywug!

Hmm. Doesn’t rhyme. Consider instead:

“Bullywug, bullywug
Unlikely to give you a hug”

@Kevin – Updated to make it rhyme. But your “hug” line doesn’t have enough syllables so I went with something easier. ;)

Love it!

Anyone placing bets yet that Bullywugs become a Core Race in Fifth Edition D&D? Lemme hear you say YEH!

Nice song! I am actually setting up a 3.5 game and want to use bullywugs but they’re not there. not in any of the 3.5 books I own, unless they are in MM5 which I lost. I used to use em often in the old days of AD&D.
