This fanboy loves Fanboys!
If you’ve never seen, or heard of, Fanboys, I highly recommend running out right now and renting it. It’s a movie with a silly premise that works a lot better than expected. Set in 1999, four friends take a road trip to Skywalker Ranch to steal footage for the new Star Wars: Episode 1 movie rather than waiting six months until it hits theaters. All four friends are huge Star Wars geeks. There are tons of inside jokes and geek-only references that made my whole family laugh out loud many, many times. There are cameos from Billy Dee Williams, Carrie Fisher, and William Shatner, just to name a few. This is one of those movies that you and your geek friends can sit around and watch, knowing you’re going to laugh a lot.
