Update: Lordy lordy, I has no Lordi

Last month, I posted about receiving a request to to review a new RPG featuring Lordi. I was really looking forward to it but, as of today, I still haven’t received it. I’ve been in contact with a person from The End Records who has been talking to the folks at Kahriptic Knights Publishing on getting me the RPG. As of October 30, KKP said there was “an issue with the artwork.” Yesterday, the person at The End Records said they had received no word from KKP on its status.

At this point, I’m not holding my breath. A word of advice to all future RPG publishers: If you ask someone to review your product, make sure you get them the product within a month and a half. Otherwise, it makes you look unprofessional.

@Tom – Come on! An RPG feature Lordi would be awesome! :D

Same here- they offered, I accepted, still nothing. So it’s not personal at least.

I agree it looks unprofessional. When receiving review requests from other companies, they always have the product ready to ship when they ask me.

Lordi? That would be sweet. I find their music hilarious and fun, and I can see it being RPG-ish the same way a lot of crazy devilish 80′s metal also influenced gaming in some circles.

Shame that they can’t get the product to you in time. C’est la vie, I guess.
