Wizards is giving away a free Magic: The Gathering deck

If you live in the United States and are “above the age of majority in his/her state” (which I assume is 16 or 18), then you can get a free Magic: The Gathering deck from Wizards of the Coast. Click the following link to find out more: http://www.wizards.com/promo/hereirule/

I stopped collecting MTG two years ago…but within my chest, pounds the heart of a cheap bastard! Time to get free stuff! (Hopefully).

I was trying to go pro two years ago, but the competitive atmosphere just was not for me. I have a nervous condition, and nearly every tight game made me want to faint from the tension. Luck of the draw and all that, the anticipation during the opponent’s turn was too much. I couldn’t keep going, it was making me dislike the game. I just sold my formidable collection to help buy other things.

It’s a very fun game with friends. The competitive scene can be full of jerks though.
