I was trying to go pro two years ago, but the competitive atmosphere just was not for me. I have a nervous condition, and nearly every tight game made me want to faint from the tension. Luck of the draw and all that, the anticipation during the opponent's turn was too much. I couldn't keep going, it was making me dislike the game. I just sold my formidable collection to help buy other things. It's a very fun game with friends. The competitive scene can be full of jerks though.
